QuickLoansWA.com is an independent informational resource built for one purpose: helping Washington State residents borrow smarter. Whether you're comparing licensed lenders, trying to understand your rights under state law, or just want to know what a loan really costs before you sign, we lay it out in plain language.
Why We Exist
Short-term borrowing is confusing, and the fine print often hides the real cost. Many people in Washington take out loans without knowing they have a legal right to cancel, a right to a free installment plan, or that some lenders aren't even licensed to operate in the state. We started this site to close that information gap.
We focus specifically on Washington because lending rules are set at the state level. A payday loan guide written for Texas or Florida simply doesn't apply here — Washington has its own limits, its own protections, and its own regulator (the Department of Financial Institutions). Everything we publish is written for Washington borrowers, using Washington law.
We only reference licensed Washington lenders, we always cite official sources like dfi.wa.gov, and we tell you the real cost of borrowing — including when a loan is a bad idea and a cheaper option exists.
What Guides Our Content
Accuracy first
Every figure — loan limits, fee caps, APRs — is checked against Washington state law (RCW 31.45) and the DFI.
Borrower's side
We highlight your legal rights and cheaper alternatives, not just the fastest way to get cash.
Plain language
No jargon, no fine-print tricks. If a loan costs 391% APR, we say so clearly.
Transparency
We explain how we earn money and never let it change the facts we report.
How We Make Money
QuickLoansWA is free to use. When you click certain lender links or submit an application, we may receive compensation from that lender. This is standard for comparison websites and it never changes what we write, which lenders we describe as licensed, or the rights we tell you about. Our editorial content is independent of these partnerships. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
Important Disclaimer
We are an informational and comparison resource — not a lender, not a broker, and not a law firm or financial advisor. We don't make loans or lending decisions. Nothing on this site is legal or financial advice. Always verify a lender's license and the current rules directly with the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions at dfi.wa.gov before borrowing.
